The primary responsibility of all Trulight127 staff is to provide a positive role model for our children. The Houseparent position will be assigned to work as a couple in a specified cottage. Work schedule will reflect meeting the needs under the essential job functions and will be overseen by the Director of Residential Care. All employees of Trulight127, Inc. receive training in the Quality Improvement (QI) activities of the agency and are required to actively participate in QI meetings, tasks, projects and/or committees, as needed.

Licensed Child Care Administrator (LCCA)
The Licensed Child Care Administrator (LCCA) is responsible for the overall administration, efficient operation and management of the Village General Residential Operations while ensuring quality services and advocacy of children in an environment which promotes their rights. The LCCA implements programs and services as specified in the children's individualized service plan; completes accurately all reports, data collection and other information documenting the care and services provided. The LCCA is responsible for adhering to all mandated state, federal, licensing regulations and agency policies.
Knowledge and Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of State licensing codes, regulations, policies and procedures and guidelines for accreditation.
Knowledge of the effects of domestic/family violence on children and trauma informed care.
Skilled in MS Word, Outlook, Excel.
Ability to effectively supervise and communicate, both orally and written.
Ability to analyze and resolve situations accurately and professionally and adopt a plan of action.
Ability to work independently, train and evaluate assigned staff performance.
Licensed Child-Care Administrator (LCCA) required.
Minimum graduate from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree is required.
Two years of full-time childcare experience in a residential childcare setting, to include one year of management/supervisory experience of staff and programs is required.
A graduate degree may be substituted for the required experience up to one year.
Current Texas driver's license.
DFPS background check is required.
Proof of current auto liability insurance.

Youth Care Specialist
Contributes to TruLight Youth Village’s mission, vision and values. Must adhere to the requirements and regulations as set forth by the Department of Family Protective Services (DFPS) and to all current federal and state laws. Provide for the physical and emotional needs of the clients assigned to the cottage and facilitate a healthy group living experience. Participate in a multi-disciplinary treatment team in the care of clients.
