Each year over 25,000 Foster Children “Age out” of the system. They are suddenly alone in the world. For the majority of them, their lives have been under the control of a government agency that has made all the decisions about their lives. This has been found in research to correlate with homelessness, prison, lack of employment, and early pregnancy. These results also occur in children who have never learned to attach to others in a healthy way. Every time a child is moved while in foster care attachment is damaged. Children are often moved due to families not being equipped to care for their needs.

TruLight127 wants more for these children. We truly believe that every child is worth it. That is why we have focused our programs on providing the love and support that these kids need to lead productive lives. From the very little ones to the teens, we believe in them all!
