TruLight127 Ministries is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization which is contracted with and receives funding from the Department of Family and Protective Services for the purpose of licensing foster families and placing children in licensed homes.
In 2020, TruLight127 celebrated 5 years of helping foster kids and the families who open their hearts and homes to them.
But how did they get their start?
TruLight127 Ministries CEO, Sondra Ajasin, takes a moment in this video to recount the timeline of the past five years.
Who are we? We a bunch of people who love God and love kids. We work really hard to make sure that the kids have a safe, loving environment to live in.

Since 2016, since we first started placing children … we have had over 700 children come through our trained & licensed foster homes. We are nearing 165 adoptions through TruLight.
Since we opened TruLight Youth Village in 2019, our emergency shelter in Seguin Texas, we have been able to help over 60 children, mostly keeping sibling groups together and in tact.
