Foster Parent Pre-Service Training
Becoming a foster parent takes more than completing a checklist. It means learning to understand the story behind a child's behavior, create felt safety, build connection, work alongside families and professionals, and care for children in ways that recognize the impact of trauma.
Rooted & Ready is TruLight127 Ministries' pre-service training pathway for foster and adoptive families. Our training incorporates Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI®) and Trauma Competent Caregiving, giving families practical tools they can use long after licensing is complete.
